Select defeat Regals, 5-2

The Amherst Micron Select faced off against the Buffalo Regals on Saturday afternoon at the Pepsi Center and won, 5-2.

Scoring for Amherst were Paul Cartone, Jeffrey Cummins, Dante Santora and two goals from Andrew Ferenczy.

Splitting goaltending duties, Gregory Stamms and Nicholas Haas shut down the Regals' offense.

The Regals got goals early on from Dylan Krcykowski and Owen Gontor.

Goalie Jon Hughey made numerous saves to keep the game close.
