Micron Gold Sabres too much against White Sabres

The high-powered offense of the Amherst Micron Gold Sabres proved too much for the White Sabres as the Gold won, 5-3, on Sunday.

The White Sabres took an early lead only to see the Gold Sabres battle back through the second period.

Ryan Rappini led the scoring for the Gold Sabres with a hat trick. Other goals were scored by Ethan Ruggiero and Hudson Curtin.

Charlie Sinagra, Gregg Stamm and Colin Hampton scored for the White Sabres.

Goaltending at both ends was spectacular. Adam Rosenthal was between the pipes for the Gold Sabres and Nicholas Mecca for the White Sabres.
