Squirt Flyers blank Bruins

The Squirt Flyers shut out the Bruins, 6-0, in their first playoff game.

Matt Mirand had a hat trick with two goals in the first period and one in the third.

Mel Muchnik put home a loose rebound off of Hudson Milligan's stick in the second. Muchnik also had two assists.

Noah Rosenthal and Brian Wiktorowski also scored for the Flyers.

Goalie Jacob Zurat filled in for the ill Alex Streng and played strong.

Stars were awarded to the Flyers' Rosenthal, Noah Bachwitz, Mirand and Zurat. Wiktorowski received the game puck for scoring his first goal of the year.
