Matthew Heard and Leah Phaviseth

Darouny and Nathy Phaviseth of Cheektowaga announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Phaviseth, to Matthew Heard, son of Mary and Mark Heard of East Amherst.

Miss Phaviseth graduated from West Seneca East High School in 2000. She received a degree in art from Geneseo State College in 2004 and is a purchasing agent.

Her fiance graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1996. He received a degree in criminal justice from Baldwin Wallace College in 2000 and is a U.S. Customs officer.

A September 2008 wedding is planned.
