Sherry L. Lesser and Robert C. Gibson

Louise and Richard Lesser of Cheektowaga announce the engagement of their daughter, Sherry Lynn Lesser, to Robert Christopher Gibson, son of Teresa and Edgar Gibson of Derby.

Miss Lesser is a graduate of Maryvale High School and the University at Buffalo, where she is pursuing a master's degree in education. She is employed at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo.

Her fiance graduated from North Tonawanda High School, Niagara County Community College and UB. He is an acute care nurse practitioner with Exigence Hospitalist Group, employed at Erie County Medical Center.

A December 2008 wedding is planned at Queen of Martyrs Church in Cheektowaga.
