Wegmans decision commended

The members of the Amherst Task Force for Healthy Community * Healthy Youth, a diverse group of community leaders, educators, parents and citizens who collaborate to support positive youth development efforts throughout the Town of Amherst, wish to publicly thanks Wegmans for its action regarding the selling of tobacco products. One goal of our task force is to recognize businesses that support youth and contribute to developing a healthy community. We salute your decision to stop selling tobacco products, and thank you on behalf of the youth and families in the Town of Amherst.
