Alan Gonsenhauser of Williamsville was named executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Independent Health, based in Amherst. He will oversee the long-term positioning and direction of the company's sales. He has more than 25 years of business and sales experience.
Annette M. Kajtoch of Williamsville was promoted to senior vice president of consumer banking at First Niagara Bank. As senior vice president, she is the WNY regional manager for consumer banking as well as being responsible for First Niagara Trust & Investment Services and First Niagara Securities.
Janet Stoeckl of Amherst has been named administrator of specialty care delivery processes at Independent Health, based in Amherst. A registered nurse, she will develop and monitor hospital and group provider performance and coordinate medical expense management initiatives.
Gloria Queeno-Chamberlain of Snyder has been hired by Gelia Wells & Mohr, a marketing communications agency based in Clarence, as a database administrator, responsible for supporting Gelia's interactive and direct marketing clients. She was a senior software analyst for Time Warner Cable.

Timothy Sobolewski of Williamsville has been hired by O'Keefe Shaw & Co. Inc. as a financial adviser. He is a certified financial planner professional and is certified in long-term care. He returned to WNY after 14 years in Boston, Mass., and worked previously as a financial adviser at HSBC Securities and Bank of America Investments.
Lisa P. Stefanie of East Amherst, a vice president with The Synergy Group, has earned her professional in human resources certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute. The Synergy Group, founded in 1990, is located in Amherst.
Dave Measer of Amherst has joined the Olear Realty Group at MJ Peterson Real Estate. He has held a Realtor's license since 1984 and is trained and designated as a certified residential specialist, a status achieved by only 5 percent of current real estate agents.

Gordon B. Cumming of Williamsville was recently elected to the Shea's Performing Arts Center's board of directors for a three-year term. He will focus on human resources issues for the board, which works to restore and maintain the theater. Cumming is vice president of human resources and organizational development at Independent Health.
Kathryn Belliotti of Amherst was named assistant director of annual giving and alumni relations at Daemen College. She is a 2006 magna cum laude graduate and will receive a Master of Science degree in college student personnel administration from Canisius College in May.
Tina Fiebelkorn, a Getzville pharmacist, will be honored at the 2008 American Pharmacists Association annual meeting and exposition in San Diego for her work in patient counseling and education. She specializes in geriatric pharmacy and will receive the APhA Pharmacist One-to-One Counseling Recognition Award.
Edward F. Wright Jr. recently joined As It Is Inc. as chief financial officer. He will work on the launch of TrueThinker.com. The As It Is office is at the University at Buffalo Technology Incubator in Amherst. Wright has 15 years of financial industry experience.

Dr. James G. Corasanti of Getzville, a Buffalo Medical Group gastroenterologist, has been elected chairman of the organization's board of directors. He succeeds Dr. Donald E. Miller. He is also medical director of the GI Endoscopy Unit at Buffalo General Hospital and is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
