Paulette and David Morris of Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Lynn Morris, to Andrew James Weiland, son of Becky and James Weiland of King of Prussia, Pa.

Miss Morris graduated from Williamsville East High School in 2002. She received a degree in education and English from Niagara University in 2006. She is a sixth-grade English teacher.

Her fiance graduated from Upper Merion Area High School in 1998. He received a degree in computer science from Philadelphia University in 2004. He is a systems administrator.

An April 2009 wedding is planned.
