Kathleen P. Yearley and John A. Wickett

Cynthia and Thomas Yearley of Lancaster announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen P. Yearley, to John A. Wickett, son of Belva Hurd of Barrie, Ontario and Thomas Wickett of Canandaigua.

Miss Yearley graduated from Lancaster High School in 2003. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Canisius College in 2007 and is pursuing a juris doctor degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

Her fiance graduated from East Rochester High School in 1993. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Canisius College in 2007. He is studying to be an osteopathic surgeon at Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine.

A January 2010 wedding is planned.
