Couple honeymoon in Smoky Mountains

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Haurik
Sarah Anne Gordon married Joseph George Haurik in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at Grace and Truth Church in Amherst. The Rev. Michael A. Cesar officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ann and Kenneth P. Gordon of Depew. The groom is the son of Cheryl and Charles A. Haurik of Depew.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a lace-up corseted gown with a matte satin overskirt, French lace carriage back and two-piece cap sleeves. Her fingertip length veil had crosses embroidered at the bottom, and she carried a hand-tied bouquet of white long-stemmed roses with light blue tulle and a thin silver ribbon mixed throughout.

The maid of honor was Wendy Koenig, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rebekah Gordon, sister of the bride, and Shauna Seiler, friend of the bride.

The flower girl was Rebecca Haurik, niece of the groom.

The best man was Charles N. Haurik, brother of the groom. The ushers were Seth Koenig and Darren Hoelzer, friends of the groom.

The ring bearer was Matthew Josker, nephew of the groom.

A reception was held at Grace and Truth Church. The couple are at home in Lancaster after honeymooning in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.
