Bantam Minor 'AA' Knights edge Hawks

The Bantam Minor "AA" Amherst Knights beat the Hamburg Hawks, 3-1, on Sunday.

Adam Hepp (Joe Todaro, Nick Metcalf) scored early in the first period and later at the 9:05 mark, scored his second of the game with assists from Zack Lesswing and Patrick Griffin.

In the second period, Alex DiDonato won a faceoff back to his defenseman Christian Curatolo, who moved into the slot and scored with a back hand shot.

In the third period, goalie Thomas Styn shined as he held off the Hamburg offense to close out the victory.
