Ralston promotes another local card

Jimmy Ralson will present his fourth amateur card on Saturday Feb. 2 at the VFW Leonard Post, 2450 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga.

Once again, the card will feature fighters from Western New York, Northern Pennsylvania and Southern Ontario.

Amherst's Wendy Casey, a New York State Golden Gloves and Empire State Games champion will lead a platoon of local fighters, including Matt Holsher, Kevin Durmaj, Alex Stiglemeyer, Marshawn Jones, Malik Blyden and Robert Glosek. Casey was scheduled to fight on the last card in December, but her opponent withdrew two days before the fight.

The card will also feature three super heavyweight bouts. Guy Mabee, a 7-footer from Salamanca, will face Lorenzo Davis of Niagara Falls, John Bucks will face Blyden and Mohammed Salahabeen will face Jallal Ricks.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
