St. Joe's eighth-grade scholarship winners named

St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute awarded the following Amherst students with scholarships - they will join the school as part of the class of 2012:

Presidential Scholarship: Nicholas Antoniadis, Christ the King School; David Bianchi, St. Mary's School; Michael Cobler-Lichter, St. Gregory the Great School; Jonathan Er, Transit Middle School; and Bradley Fanning, St. John the Baptist School.

Signum Fidei Scholarship: David Arthur, St. Gregory the Great School; Ryan Bartels, St. Gregory the Great School; Matthew Battaglia, St. Gregory the Great School; Michael Biggane, Sweet Home Middle School; Brett Butler, Casey Middle School; Jacob Foster, Christ the King School; Aramide Gbadamosi, Christ the King School; Michael Haar, Nardin Academy Elementary Schoo; Lemoine Joseph, Nardin Academy Elementary School; Gabriel Knoll, St. Gregory the Great School; Mark Pitman, Nardin Academy Elementary School; Richard Saffire, Transit Middle School; and Brian Windschitl, SS. Peter & Paul School.

De La Salle Scholarship: Eric Bauer, St. Gregory the Great School; Michael Hillery, St. Gregory the Great School; Nathaniel Jacobs, Christian Central Academy; Patrick Ryan, St. Mary's School; and Patrick Waldron, St. Gregory the Great School.

Achievement Scholarship: Taylor Almeter, St. Mary's School; Avery Becker, Casey Middle School; Michael Collins, St. Christopher School; Robert Graczyk, St. Benedict School; Thomas Maleck, SS. Peter & Paul School; Brendon Tenney, St. Benedict School; and Anthony Tomasello Christ the King School.

Christian Brothers' Scholarship: Robert Cerasa, St. Leo the Great School; and Anthony Migliore, St. Gregory the Great School.
