Free SAT prep seminar tonight

Upgrade Academics, Inc. will hold a free one-hour SAT seminar for high school juniors and their parents at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 at Williamsville South High School, 5950 Main St.

The seminar will cover SAT basics - how it is used in the college admission process, when it's offered and how to register. Also, the length and structure of the test, section and question types, including samples, and how it is scored.

Upgrade Academics will provide smart and simple strategies to help students know the SAT inside and out, learn to slow down and pace their work, how to "guess well" and how to practice.
