Christina M. Dowsland and Eric P. North

Debra and Darryl Dowsland of Westmoreland, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina M. Dowsland, to Eric P. North, son of Darlene and Richard North of Amherst.

Miss Dowsland graduated from Westmoreland Central High School in 1998. She received an associate degree in liberal arts from Mohawk Valley Community College. She is a keyboard specialist at Buffalo Correctional Facility.

Her fiance graduated from Williamsville East High School in 1998. He is a foreman at S&R Greenleaf Landscaping Inc.
