Jessica M. Foltz and Oscar G. Bargnes III

Kathryn and Dennis Foltz of Mt. Carroll, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Marie Foltz, to Oscar Guy Bargnes III, of Chicago, son of Patricia and Oscar Bargnes of Grosse Point, Mich., formerly of Buffalo. The groom's father was also a resident of Williamsville.

Miss Foltz received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Illinois in 2001 and a juris doctor degree from Loyala University Chicago School of Law in 2004. She is an attorney with Scariano, Himes and Petrarca Chtd. in Chicago.

Her fiance graduated from Canisius High School in 1996. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Michigan in 2000. He is a derivatives trader for Jump Trading in Chicago.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
