Autistic Services Inc. recently promoted Nancy E. Gangloff to senior director of finance and business operations. She joined the company in 1995 as an agency accountant. Gangloff is a member of the Financial Managers Association Central Region. Amherst resident Michael D. Samulski was named director of finance, replacing Gangloff. He was hired in 2006 as a controller and in his new role will be responsible for the supervision of payroll and general accounting for the agency.

Paul Markel has been named director of nursing at ElderWood Health Care at Heathwood on Hopkins Road in Williamsville. He was hired as a nurse manager in the subacute rehabilitation unit at ElderWood Health Care at Oakwood in 1993, then left to pursue work in a hospital setting at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. Most recently, he served as director of nursing at another area skilled nursing facility.

Nancy Blumenstalk Mingus of Williamsville has been named interim director for Empire State College, State University of New York's FORUM West Program. The FORUM program offers a specialized bachelor's degree in business management at the college's Niagara Frontier Center. For 19 years she has been president of Mingus Associates Inc. and has taught at colleges for 30 years.
