Open house set at St. Benedict

St. Benedict School, located at Main Street and Eggert Road, will hold an open house next month.

The open house will begin with a Mass at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 followed by tours of the school from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Students and parents will serve as tour guides and answer questions about life at St. Benedict School.

"In a rapidly changing world, St. Benedict's offers a sense of stability based on Gospel values," Principal Patricia Boyd said. "Our experienced teachers go beyond the textbook and introduce and reinforce concepts and problem-solving techniques."

The school houses kindergarten through eighth grades. Sports activities are offered, and many coaches are also parents.
