Couple renew vows

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wieand

Leni and Richard Wieand of Cheektowaga celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their vows at Queen of Martyrs Church in Cheektowaga, where they are members, followed by a gathering at the Polish Falcons in Depew.

Richard Wieand married the former Leni Morbitzer on Oct. 19, 1957 at Coleman Kaserne Chapel in Gelnhausen, Germany.

Richard is a retired tool and gage inspector with Trico Products Corp. Leni is retired from I.T.S. Security at the Buffalo Airport.

The couple have two children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
