Wendy Stortz and Paul Yates

Bonnie and William Stortz of Depew announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Stortz, to Paul Yates, son of Debbie and Ronald Yates Jr. of Niagara Falls.

Miss Stortz graduated from Maryvale Senior High School in 1998. She received a degree in social work from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2002 and a masters degree in social work from the University at Buffalo in 2003. She is a social worker at the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.

Her fiance graduated from LaSalle High School. He is employed at Delphi.

A May 2008 wedding is planned.
