Bride's veil, bouquet made by mother

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Shamp Jr.

Amanda Dove married Ronald Shamp Jr. in an afternoon ceremony on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at The Church of the Ascension in Rochester where the groom's parents were married. The Rev. Daniel M. Linnenberg officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Lori and John Roney of Lancaster. The groom is the son of Jill and Ronald Shamp Sr. of Hilton, N. Y.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a purple off-the-shoulder gown with a matching veil and carried a bouquet of silk wildflowers in white and purple. The veil and bouquet were made by her mother.

The ring bearer was Jackie Roney, sister of the bride.

A reception was held in Cheektowaga.

The couple will honeymoon in Florida, where they will reside.
