Meetings marketing counseling Score of Buffalo Niagara will hold One-on-One Marketing Counseling from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library. American Abolitionism workshop set Macalester College historian James Brewer Stewart will conduct a workshop on American abolitionism from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Old Main Case Study at Canisius College. The event is open to the public. The workshop is part of Bruce Dierenfield's African-American Experience. For more information on the workshop, call Dierenfield at 888-2683. Orchard Park presents annual marketplace The 26th annual Community Marketplace will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 1 at Orchard Park High School, 4040 Baker Road, Orchard Park. The marketplace is a family event for all ages, presented by the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce. A variety of businesses will be on hand, offering one-stop shopping for visitors. There will be a continuous lineup of free entertainment throughout the day, including Glenn Colton. Attendees can spend the day visiting the exhibits and enjoying the entertainment and refreshments, as well as registering to win one of the numerous door prizes being offered.
