Union girls defeat Cornell

Union College came up with a 5-2 win over Cornell.

Union's Emily Keable opened the scoring. Cornell's Missy Mallon tied it up but Union came back with a goal from Alicia Oswald.

Union fought off two penalties in the second to keep the score 2-1. Emily Beauchamp, Emily Keable (Alicia Oswald, Emma Hubert), and Sarah O'Brien of Union scored in the third.

Cornell's Missy Mallon (Emily Saint) scored in the third.

Union goalie Abbey Posner came up big. Cornell's Quinn Patrick and goalie Anna Quattro played strong.

Union's Brianna Stressinger and Margaret Mugel came up strong.
