Rangers edge Sharks, 5-4

Justin Bystrak, helped by defenseman Andrew Kean's chip in, lifted the game-winning goal over netminder Matt Phillips' right shoulder, giving his Rangers a 5-4 win over the Sharks.

Second period goals by Tom Adolf, Missy Mallon and Mason Schrefand, assisted by Brian Bookbinder, Gabe Jewula (two) and Chris Comtois (two) helped the Sharks erase a 3-0 Ranger lead.

The first period was the Tyler Penberthy show as the Ranger star assisted on goals by Nick Cuomo and John Huyler and netted his own in a 41-second onslaught. Trevor Browning also earned an assist.
