Dynamo ties Tigers

The Amherst Dynamo made its 2008 debut in the Epic Winter Soccer League on Jan. 9.

Scores by Zachary Lipp and Curtis Snyder helped this retooled team earn a 2-2 tie against the Akron Tigers in a U-15 indoor game.

Defensive efforts by Ben Roesser and Brandon Maranto, coupled with 14 saves by Sean McNamara, gave the squad a hard-earned point.

The team also saw solid all-around efforts from Tommy Ryan, Bobby O'Connor, Ryan Hofschneider and Jordan Bookbinder.

The team next game is Jan. 23.
