Amherst Cyclones soccer stop Force, 2-1

Cyclones' Adam Gilles-Thomas scored the first goal on a penalty kick in the first half, and Cyclones' Elliot Biltekoff scored the winning goal in the second half.

Goalie Christian Alaimo had numerous saves throughout the game, with a spectacular save late in the second half when he jumped up and tipped the ball up and over the goalie net, preventing the Lancaster Force from tying up the score.

Although the Lancaster Force scored first and early, the Cyclones maintained an excellent defense and prevented the Lancaster Force from scoring again. This was the first official game of the season.
