Edmund J. Kent, 89, of Williamsville, died on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008.

Born in Buffalo, Mr. Kent worked at Bell Aircraft as a mechanical engineer and lecturer during World War II.
He was the co-founder of Trinity Tools Corp. in Tonawanda and later founded Snyder Industrial Sales Corp. with his wife.
He was known for his ability to put people at ease and his readiness to help others.
He enjoyed hunting, gardening, woodworking and the outdoors.
Mr. Kent is survived by his wife, Florine P.; one son, James; two daughters, Elizabeth, and Carol Williams; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 14 at Beach-Tuyn Funeral Home.
