      Town of Amherst Council Member Deborah Bruch Bucki voted in favor of the appointment of College Bogdan to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Jan. 7 meeting. The vote was 6-1, with Council Member Dan Ward casting the no vote.

Home invasion reported on Harding Road
      A Harding Road woman was home with her infant son on Jan. 8 when three men entered her house, tied her up and ransacked the home. Detective Lt. Rick Walter said Amherst police are continuing to investigate the home invasion, which occurred around 11 p.m. Jan. 8.
