Benjamin D. Kean and Jill M. Martek

Karen M. and William G. Martek Sr. of Depew announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill M. Martek, to Benjamin D. Kean, son of Mary Ann C. and Arthur T. Kean of Tonawanda.

Miss Martek graduated from Lancaster High School in 1997. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business education from Canisius College in 2001 and a Master of Education degree from Canisius College in 2004. She is a business teacher.

Her fiance graduated from Canisius High School in 1997. He received Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and management information systems from Canisius College in 2002. He is a fire alarm technician.

A November 2008 wedding at Christ the King Chapel at Canisius College is planned.
