Couple honeymoon in Hawaiian islands

Mr. and Mrs. Jason C. Batt
Melissa M. Young married Jason C. Batt in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at Queen of Martyrs Church in Buffalo. The Rev. Louis Klein officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary and Michael Young of Lancaster. The groom is the son of Patricia and Kevin Batt of Lancaster.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory strapless gown with crystal beading and a veil with crystal beading. She carried a bouquet of large white calla lilies.

The matrons of honor were Jill Peresan and Julie Sellitto, friends of the bride and groom. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Young, sister-in-law of the bride; Kristin Dobmeier, sister of the groom; and Nicole Shadle, Julie Murray, Meghan Doran and Lisa Nguyen, friends of the bride and groom.

The flower girls were Marisa Young, niece of the bride, and Mira Sellitto, daughter of the matron of honor.

The best men were Anthony Tabone Jr. and Shaun Babcock, friends of the bride and groom. The ushers were Matthew Dobmeier, brother-in-law of the groom; Matthew Young, brother of the bride; and Joseph Peresan, Shawn Murray, Adam Brown and Jim Buettner, friends of the bride and groom.

A reception was held at Samuel's Grande Manor. The couple honeymooned in the Hawaiian islands.
