 | | HONORED - On Wednesday, Jan. 2, Boy Scout Troop 457 from St. John Lutheran Church in Amherst honored Stephen Stoeckl, left, James Stelianou and Peter Doster as they received their Eagle Scout honors. They are pictured holding a plaque with the names of all 61 Eagle Scouts from Troop 457. For his Eagle Scout project, Stoeckl landscaped the entire church grounds of St. Anthony's Church in Lockport. He is a senior at Williamsville North High School and the son of Donald and Janet Stoeckl of Williamsville. Stelianou's project involved spreading topsoil and seeding the lawn at a Niagara Habitat for Humanity home he helped construct. He is the son of Robert and Carol Stelianou of East Amherst and a senior at Williamsville East High School. Doster's project involved designing and overseeing the construction and installation of four wooden benches with flower boxes attached for Pioneer Lutheran Camp in Angola. He is the son of Marty and Carolyn Doster of Getzville and a senior at Williamsville North. |
