Stars play well, knock off White Sabres

The Squirt Stars played one of its best games of the season on Dec. 30, beating the White Sabres, 6-4.

The Stars led 3-0, but the Sabres scored twice in the second and two more at the end of the third.

Noah Reinhart scored his second of the season on a strong wrist shot from the top of the face-off circle.

Two goals by Richard Bruno and tallies from Nick Peters, George Korn and Austin Abbarno closed out the Stars' scoring.

The Sabres were led by Matthew Terrance and Benjamin Wald (two goals each), Andrew Meyer (two assists) and Brendan Condren (assist).
