Penguins outgun Stars, 7-6

The Squirt Penguins worked up a 3-0 lead over the first two periods before the Stars came roaring back with three of its own to tie it in the third.

Sarah Scholnick added two more for the Penguins to complete her first hat trick and Nick Tracy added another to go up 6-3.

The Stars wouldn't quit, adding three more to tie it at 6-6 with three tallies from Nick Peters and Richard Bruno to complete hat tricks.

With 20 seconds remaining, Tracy found the corner of the net to put the game out of reach for the Stars.
