In exhibition matches, Sam Beichner (96, first period pin), Ryan Tideswell (275, second period pin), Ben Bermudez (130, 5-3) and Quinton Brock (152, second period pin) also recorded victories.

"We dominated them," said East coach Henry Fumerelle. "They are really starting to believe in themselves and are not satisfied. They continue to work hard. Once they got the fire lit up, the sky has been the limit."

East has a busy week, beginning with a road match at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Iroquois. They travel to Section V powerhouse Holley at 6 p.m. on Friday then come back at 9 a.m. on Saturday to wrestle in the Williamsville North Tournament.
