Tenants move out, leave behind a dog

Friday, Dec. 28
• A Hitching Post Lane resident complained about a coyote in the back yard.
• An Evans Street business employee complained about a man who locked himself in a bathroom and was also touching himself inappropriately.
• A Casey Road resident reported that two teens ran from the back porch when the complainant returned home. A screen had been cut, and the sliding door was off its track. The subjects ran into the woods.
• A person passing by a Transit Road plaza reported that he observed someone hit a parked car and leave. The person in question was still bowling at a bowling alley in the plaza.
Saturday, Dec. 29
• A Windermere Boulevard resident complained about an annoying dog, stating it was "shouting, not barking."
• A North Long Street resident complained about a German Shepherd mix that was running loose, and the caller didn't want to approach the dog to read its tags.
Sunday, Dec. 30
• A man was reported for roaming around the lobby of a Millersport Highway address. He appeared very disoriented.
• An intoxicated driver on Tralee Terrace was reportedly heading to a liquor store.
• Someone on Evans Street complained that an individual spit in the complainant's face.
• A Niagara Falls Boulevard gas station employee reported that someone prepaid for $10 in gas, pumped $47 and left.
• An unwelcome guest was reported at a Niagara Falls Boulevard business. The suspect was reportedly screaming and grabbing paperwork out of employees' hands.
Monday, Dec. 31
• A woman reportedly took four memory cards from a Niagara Falls Boulevard business, then returned them to another store in the same plaza. It was the second time the situation had happened in a week.
• A woman who picked up her daughter from a hotel on Flint Road stated that there was an underage drinking party, with drug activity, in one of the rooms, but the daughter wouldn't tell the mom which room.
• A rowdy party with drunks taking down residents' Christmas decorations was reported on Kaymar Drive.
Tuesday, Jan. 1
• A suspicious person with a vehicle was reported on Wehrle Drive. The person had been working, felt fatigued and wanted to rest.
• Harassment was reported by a Churchcroft Lane resident, who complained that prostitutes were being sent to his house.
• Someone checking on an East Royal Parkway apartment reported that the three college students who were living there moved out, leaving behind a dog.
• Police stopped a car on Sheridan Drive for tinted windows and noticed an odor of marijuana. A bag of the drug, along with residue, was found in the vehicle.
Wednesday, Jan. 2
• A Frankhauser Road resident complained about a hawk that had been sitting outside the window for 45 minutes, possibly hurt.
• A Coronation Drive resident reported hearing footsteps on the roof.
Thursday, Jan. 3
• A child fell out of a laundry basket on Capen Boulevard, suffering a small cut on the tongue.
• A "dirty male with a 3-foot ponytail" was reportedly trespassing on Main Street. The manager of the property asked to have him removed.
• A parent reported that a son came home from the Pepsi Center intoxicated and was now vomiting.
