The Northeast Family YMCA Branch will offer a 12 session nutrition lecture series at the Northeast Family YMCA, located at 4433 Main St., Amherst beginning Monday, Jan. 14. Lora Williams will present the series on Mondays at 7 p.m. where she will cover such topics as long term weight loss, food and mood, and nutritional concerns for winter. Classes are free to members and are $5 per class for non-members. To register, call 839-2543.

Fidelis Care, a non-profit health plan, has promoted Heather Ruhland to eligibility associate in its Western Region Office, located in Amherst. She is responsible for reviewing and determining eligibility for member applications and re-certifications.
