Stars hand Black Sabres' first loss

The Amherst Pee Wee Stars defeated the Black Sabres 6-3 in an entertaining, fast paced game on Sunday to up improve its record to 7-0.

Inspired play by all three Star lines, tough defense and spectacular goaltending by Kyle Flierl in his first start resulted in the Stars handing the Black Sabres its first loss.

Star players Trevor Shaw, Nick Schiappa, Tyler Casselman and Mark Christy all scored goals. The Black Sabres played hard to the final whistle but ultimately fell short.
