Penguins cook Red Wings

The Pee Wee Penguins grilled the Red Wings on Sunday, 5-2.

First period scoring was kept to a minimum by the excellent goaltending from the Penguins' Michael Battaglia and the Red Wings' Theresa Meosky.

The only goal in the first period was scored by Greg Wesolowski beating the goalie high on the glove side.

In the second period, the Penguins pulled ahead with goals by Justin Beck and Rick Procknal.

In the third, the Penguins finished cooking the Wings with goals by James Roehl and another from Wesolowski. TheWings managed goals by Antonio Zendano and James Kirckpatrick.
