New Officers

NEW OFFICERS - The Amherst Police Department had eight officers recently join its ranks. They are, from left to right, Patrick J. Mayer, Kari A. McFayden, Corey M. Brown, Greg R. Huller, Jonathan Klein, Laura C. Leahy, Gregory B. Bund and Bradley G. Canzoneri. On. Dec. 18 the officers graduated as part of the 110th session of the Basic Police Academy at Erie Community College's North Campus. Mayer completed the academy in 2006 as a member of the Niagara Falls Police Department. These officers will help fill the void left when 15 members of the Amherst Police Department retired in 2007.
