Kristin Trometer and William Vogel

Marilyn and William Trometer of West Seneca announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Trometer, to William Vogel, son of Dawn and William Vogel of Orchard Park.

Miss Trometer graduated from Mount Mercy Academy in 1999. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Cortland State College in 2003 and a Master of Education degree in literacy from the University at Buffalo in 2005. She is a fourth-grade teacher.

Her fiance graduated from West Seneca West High School in 1992. He owns Bill Vogel's Cars Inc. in Lackawanna.

An October 2008 wedding is planned.
