Lora Baker married Matthew Thomas in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at St. Gregory the Great Church in Amherst. The Rev. Joseph Gatto officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Richard Baker of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Christine and Richard Thomas of Williamsville.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore an A-line, beaded, floral, white satin gown with cap sleeves and a white satin jacket made and worn by her mother on her own wedding day.
The matron of honor was Shelley Metzgar, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was Danielle Diekow, friend of the bride. The junior bridesmaids were Meg and Julia Duffey, cousins of the bride.
The best man was Adam Thomas, brother of the groom. The ushers were Matthew Clutter and Chris Bushley, friends of the groom.
A reception was held at Sean Patrick's Restaurant in Getzville. The couple honeymooned at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
