BABY NEW YEAR - Zuhal Demirtas and her husband, Mehmet, welcomed son Omer at 1:41 a.m. Jan. 1. He was the first baby to be born at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in 2008. The couple have another son and daughter and reside in Amherst. The Women's Board of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital presented the family with a congratulatory gift basket.
