Eighth-grade orientation programs scheduled at Williamsville high schools

The three Williamsville high schools will hold open houses and orientation programs for eighth-grade students and their parents.

Parents and students who reside in the district will have an opportunity to tour the schools and hear presentations from the various departments to learn more about the academic and extracurricular programs offered.

All eighth-grade students, or other students who are thinking about attending a Williamsville high school in September 2008, are encouraged to attend the open houses, scheduled as follows:

• 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Williamsville North High School, 1595 Hopkins Road

• 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Williamsville East High School, 151 Paradise Road

• 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at Williamsville South High School, 5950 Main St.
