Friday, June 6 • An Amberwood Drive resident reported that newspapers were taken from 23 and 29 North Briar. • A caller on Sheridan Drive reported that there was a confused elderly man wearing khaki colored pants and a striped shirt walking in the middle of Sheridan Drive near Harlem Road. • A resident cleaning a Monroe Drive garage discovered a green metal box containing a hand grenade. It was later reported that the grenade was not real. • A Levin Lane resident reported that there was a large snapping turtle in the back yard. • A puppy was reportedly walking around inside a Maple Road school building. • A male caller on Plymouth Place reported that a female almost ran him over with a riding lawn mower. • A Hillcrest Drive resident complained that there was a male and a female on the street kissing. • Several youth with flashlights were reportedly running through a Main Street cemetery. Saturday, June 7 • A Dellwood Road resident complained that youth were throwing fireworks into a portable toilet. • Teen males were reportedly running into back yards and throwing patio furniture into pools on Earldon Way. • A Delamere Road resident reported that a disoriented blackbird was stuck in a swimming pool. • An injured hawk was reportedly walking in the roadway between Main Street and Sheridan Drive. Sunday, June 8 • A vehicle's tires were slashed, pop cans were on the front lawn and someone had thrown onions at a house on Woodcrest Drive. • A turtle was reported causing traffic problems while it was attempting to cross North Forest Road. • A Sausalito Drive reported that a parked vehicle was "silly stringed." • A manager at a Transit Road restaurant reported that a female was standing in the parking lot videotaping the restaurant. The manager was concerned that the female would be hit by a car. • A male prisoner was reported banging his head again a wall while in custody at the police station. Monday June 9 • A female Ivyhurst Road resident complained that children from a Danebroke Road residence were standing on her roof, attempting to jump into her swimming pool. Tuesday, June 10 • A Pheasant Run Road resident accidently called 911 while she was cleaning her telephone. • Youths were reportedly damaging a mailbox on Allenhurst Road. • A female complained that youths were throwing water balloons at her vehicle while she was traveling on Fairgreen Drive. Wednesday, June 11 • A Rumson Road resident complained that a boat parked in the street was causing a road hazard. Thursday, June 12 • A vehicle was reportedly racing around the Denrose Drive area, heading east on Willowridge Road. |
