AND THE WINNERS ARE ... - John Cardinal O'Hara Council No. 13661 Knights of Columbus recognized the winners of its annual "Keep Christ in Christmas" Poster Contest on Dec. 19. Grand Knight Anthony J. Gennaro presented certificates to the first place winners in each class. The winners were, front row, from left: first-grader Emma Jellinick, East Amherst; second-grader Sarah Daigler; Williamsville, third-grader Iliana Lukasik, Lancaster; fourth-grader Ben Hartman, Lancaster; and Gennaro. Second row, from left: fifth-grader Lauren Balcerak, Williamsville; sixth-grader Amanda Hester, Clarence; seventh-grader Shaunna Conti, Corfu; and eighth-grader Frank Sardina, Lancaster. Absent when the photo was taken was kindergartner Vito Gallo, Depew. More than 140 students entered the contest. Nativity of Mary and Harris Hill schools participated.
