Robert J. Burke and Wendy M. Robinson

Janet and Daniel F. Robinson of Wales, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Marie Robinson, to Robert James Burke, son of Barbara and James P. Burke of Grand Island.

Miss Robinson is a graduate of Nardin Academy and attended Niagara University. She is studying construction management and engineering at Erie Community College and is employed by Robinson Paving Inc.

Her fiance is a graduate of Grand Island High School. He received an associate degree in business management from Erie Community College and is the president and owner of Amherst Lawn Care Inc.

A winter 2008 wedding is planned.
