Undefeated Pee Wee Stars beat Bruins

The Amherst Pee Wee Stars defeated the Bruins, 6-2, in an action packed, fast-paced game on Sunday to up their record to 6-0.

Strong play, precise passing and an aggressive forecheck by all three lines continue to be the formula for their success.

Stars Trevor Shaw, Nick Noe, Ryan Higgins and Nick Schiappa scored goals. The defense played physically and goaltending was once again stellar.

The Bruins played hard the whole game, and Tyler Utz scored both their goal.

Devils

The Amherst Pee Wee Stars defeated the Devils 6-4 in a hard-hitting, fast-paced game on Dec. 9 to up their record to 5-0.

Goalie Alex Jackson made numerous key saves to preserve the win.

Star players Ryan Rego, Nick Noe, Tyler Richards, Mark Christy and Austin Maciok scored goals. They were aided by strong play along the boards by wingers Jeremy Walsh and Kyle Flierl.

The Devils never quit and played hard the whole game. It took a total team effort for the Stars to finally win.
