Vieth to play collegiate tennis in Florida

Monica Vieth

Monica Vieth has accepted a full scholarship to play tennis at Nova Southeastern University beginning in September 2008.

Nova Southeastern University is a Division II school located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Vieth, a senior at Williamsville East High School, is a two-time Empire State Game silver medalist and a 2007 All-Western New York winner.

She is currently ranked sixth in the area and finished fifth in the New York State singles competition and seventh in doubles.

Monica Vieth is a member of the National Honor Society and the daughter of David and Laurie Vieth.
