Virginia W. Purdey, seamstress and accountant

Virginia W. Purdey, 84, of Williamsville, died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007.

Born in Buffalo, Mrs. Purdey was a seamstress and an accountant at The Eagle House before retiring.

Mrs. Purdey is survived by two daughters, Susan Purdey Johnson, of Cape Fair, Mo., and Marcia Purdey Schierstein, of Williamsville; one sister, Florence Cafarell, of Lincroft, N.J.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, Dec. 15 at All Saints Episcopal Church in Williamsville. Arrangements were made by the John E. Roberts Funeral Home, Buffalo.
