Santa Claus plans neighborhood visits

Santa Claus will be making the rounds through several Amherst neighborhoods aboard fire trucks this week, thanks to local fire departments.

The following is the schedule of Santa's planned tours as provided by the departments:

East Amherst: 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20; 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21; 5-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22; and 5-7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23.

Eggertsville: 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 and Saturday, Dec. 22.

Ellicott Creek: 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22.

Getzville: 1-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24.

Snyder: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24.

Williamsville: 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22.
